Mountain never leaves lone tree

Here is a photo of Oshtoran Kouh, a massive subrange of Zagros mountain range in Iran's Lorestan Province.

What makes the photo stand out is a lone tree standing next to Oshtoran Kouh which has been nicknamed the Alps of Iran and is a heaven for mountain climbers.

The snow-covered peaks of Oshtoran Kouh indicate the freezing weather at its higher altitudes. 

The subrange hosts flowing rivers, diverse wildlife, lakes, and mines.
